Retreat at Bear Trail -Main river & kayaks included

Everything about this property was wonderful. From the front door to the screened in porch. Upstairs bedrooms were great and of course the bunk beds were a hit with the granddaughter. We all enjoyed being on the river and the kids especially enjoyed the slide & rope swing. It was great that the kayaks were provided.We would definitely recommend & we will be back. Thanks Ada for a wonderful time.

The place was PERFECT for 3 couples & 3 children (ages 8, 13, & 15). House was clean and the different “spaces” you could hangout both in & outdoors was great. Location for a Weeki adventure is ideal - we paddled from the Spring right to the house. We also used the property kayaks to paddle around the property - worked real well.From the kitchen amenities to the slide and floats, we didn’t want for anything. Highly recommend!

We were fortunate to find this home on short notice, and the host was incredibly responsive, answering our questions the night before we booked for a next-day arrival. Communication throughout our stay was excellent.The property feels very safe, private, and secluded while still being easy to access. One of the highlights was the wildlife—we honestly lost count of how many manatees we saw during our stay!The house itself has a great layout and was perfect for our family. The huge screened-in patio was a game changer on buggy evenings, allowing us to enjoy being outside without worrying about the insects. The kids had an absolute blast with the kayaks and water mats, and we really appreciated being able to bring our mini goldendoodle along. She even took her very first kayak ride during the trip!Overall, this was a fantastic stay, and we’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing waterfront getaway. We would happily stay here again.
